Rebecca Lake: My fiance and I ate at Cattleman's last night, I ordered the 1/4 Chicken, beans and sweet potato casserole. Paul ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, beans and sweet potato casserole. Both were absolutely amazing, and the service was the best around. Friendly, attentive and quick. The atmosphere was refreshing, I'm so tired o...f the "local sports" theme that every restaurant has, it was wonderful to see the owner put her heart into the restaurant. We will definitely be back!
Angie Smith Linnell: Just had a fantastic meal at Cattlemen's...what a treat. Great atmosphere, great service, great company...everyone was so friendly and was great to learn a little of the history. What a great dining experience. We had the pulled pork and the brisket - oh my! The sweet potato casserole - you don't get authentic like... that in Maine very often...and the kickin' green beans...phenomenal. Shall we talk about dessert? Wow! Well worth the visit - we'll be back!
Gary Robbins: We were a party of four on Thursday night. Finest BBQ the north has ever seen is right! The pulled pork was the best I ever had. I'm getting a group together for BBQ Friday night. Great folks, great food, great setting.
Andrew York: I have had the experience of dinning in the fine atmosphere with family and friends. I can say with confidence that the wait staff was very gracious. The food was cooked to the Cattlemen's code of tender and full of robust flavor. My favorite side was the Collard Green's. I will be going back for seconds. We had our company Christmas party at Cattlemen's and were more than satisfied with the selection of food and the gracious service. The renovations are beautiful and the restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. The food is authenti...c western food (or as authentic as this Maine girl has ever had!). From the ribs, pulled pork and beef brisket to the collard greens, sweet potato casserole and corn casserole everything was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to go again! Meg Richards Two thumbs up from a native Texan transplanted to Maine. Best BBQ I have had here. It is like taking a trip there. They were sold out of desserts, and I know why: all made from scratch, and southern favorites you can't get just anywhere. I agree with others that it's too bad they don't serve beer or spirits, but since ...you can get those next door at any number of places, no big deal. I am taking my mother for Mother's Day!

Paul Heath First time was Saturday night! I had the ribs with the meat that was ever so soft dipped in the splendid sauce. I also had some of the best baked beans ever served. The sweet potato caserole... I'm going back soon!

Karissa Ostheimer I tried out Cattlemen's this Saturday and it was unique and delicious. The food was hot and amazing, and the sauce was an excellent compliment to my entire dish. The peanuts were a nice authentic touch, not messy at all. The sweet tea was perfect. I also loved how honey is on every table.
